Description
The Wild carnation (Dianthus caryophyllus) is an upright, winter-green perennial that produces white, pink, red or dark red, wheel-shaped flowers with a pleasant fragrance from May to August. Its lanceolate leaves are dark green. In a sunny location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 50 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide.
