Description
The Cheddar pink 'Badenia' (Dianthus gratianopolitanus) is a carpet-like, winter-green perennial that produces dark red, wheel-shaped flowers with a pleasant fragrance from May to June. Its lanceolate leaves are grey-green. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 15 cm and is approx. 25 cm wide. The Cheddar pink 'Badenia' is well tolerant of frost.
