Description
The Clove pink 'Alba Plena' (Dianthus plumarius) is a dense, carpet-like, winter-green perennial that produces white, wheel-shaped, fringed flowers with a strong fragrance from May to July. Its linear leaves are blue-green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 25 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Clove pink 'Alba Plena' is well tolerant of frost.
