Description
The Fringed pink (Dianthus superbus) is an upright, cushion-forming, winter-green perennial that produces magenta-coloured, cupped flowers with a pleasant fragrance from June to September. Its linear leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, lime-free soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Fringed pink is well tolerant of frost.
