The Bleeding heart 'Valentine'® (Dicentra spectabilis) is an upright perennial that forms red and white flowers arranged in clusters from May to June. Its pinnate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 80 cm and is approx. 70 cm wide. The Bleeding heart 'Valentine'® is well tolerant of frost.
