Description
The Buschgeißblatt 'Kodiak® Mixx' (Diervilla splendens) is a bushy, broad, deciduous small shrub with decorative, lance-shaped, fresh green leaves edged in creamy white. Its pale pink new growth is also an interesting sight. It also bears pale yellow, tubular flowers from July to August. In a sunny to semi-shaded position with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of around 80 cm and spreads to around 60 cm.

Preferred location in a sunny to semi-shady position.

Normal soil.

Planting time
Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the ground is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).

Care
If watered less frequently but thoroughly and penetratingly, the plant roots are encouraged to penetrate into deeper soil layers. This enables the plant to survive dry periods better.
