Description
The Common foxglove 'Lucas' (Digitalis purpurea) is an upright, winter-green perennial that produces pink-coloured, funnel-shaped flowers from June to July. Its lanceolate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, lime-free soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.3 m and grows to a width of approx. 40 cm. The Common foxglove 'Lucas' is well tolerant of frost.
