Description
The Common foxglove 'Dwarf Red' (Digitalis purpurea) is an upright, compact, winter-green perennial that produces red, funnel-shaped flowers from June to July. Its lanceolate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, lime-free soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 90 cm and is approx. 60 cm wide. The Common foxglove 'Dwarf Red' is well tolerant of frost.
