Description
The Kaki (Diospyros kaki) is a very popular, deciduous tub plant whose orange-coloured fruits have a sweet flavour. Its decorative flowers appear from May to June. The dark green leaves are egg-shaped and glossy. The location should be as sunny and sheltered as possible. A well-drained and nutrient-rich soil is ideal. Under favourable conditions, the Kaki reaches a height of approx. 12 m and grows up to 8 m wide.
