Description
The Date plum (Diospyros lotus) produces orange-yellow fruits. They have a sweet, mild flavour. Well-drained, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from mid-September. Its yellow flowers are a beautiful sight. With its upright and branched growth, the Date plum grows to around 5 metres high and 3 metres wide.
