Description
The Draper´s teasel (Dipsacus sativus) is an upright, winter-green perennial that produces purple-coloured flowers from July to August. Its lanceolate leaves are medium green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, calcareous soil, it usually reaches a height of around 2 metres and grows to around 1 metre wide. The Draper´s teasel is well tolerant of frost.
