Description
The Caucasian leopard's bane (Doronicum orientale) is an upright, dense, winter-green perennial that forms yellow, basket-shaped flowers from April to May. Its roundish, toothed leaves are medium green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 50 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Caucasian leopard's bane is well tolerant of frost.
