Description
The Suendermann dryad (Dryas x suendermannii) is a carpet-like, winter-green perennial that forms creamy white, cup-shaped flowers from June to July. Decorative, silvery fruits develop from the flowers in August. Its egg-shaped leaves are dark green. In a sunny location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 15 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Suendermann dryad is well tolerant of frost.
