Description
The Sunset fern (Dryopteris lepidopoda) is a decorative design element in the garden with its feathery, dark green leaf fronds. The yellow-red shoots are an interesting detail. It feels most at home in a semi-shady to shady location with soil that is as well-drained and lime-free as possible. In favourable conditions, this fern reaches a height of approx. 70 cm and grows up to 80 cm wide.
