The Siebold's wood fern (Dryopteris sieboldii) with its feathery, grey-green leaf fronds is a decorative design element in the garden. It feels most at home in a semi-shady to shady location with a well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy fern reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and grows up to 60 cm wide.
