Description
The Stewart's wood fern (Dryopteris stewartii) is a decorative design element in the garden with its feathery, grey-green leaf fronds. The yellow-green shoots are an interesting detail. It feels most at home in a semi-shady to shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy fern reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and grows up to 60 cm wide.
