Description
The Red-flowered viper's grass (Echium russicum) is an upright perennial that forms dark red, funnel-shaped flowers arranged in cobs from June to August. Its lanceolate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and grows to a width of approx. 50 cm. The Red-flowered viper's grass is well tolerant of frost.
