Description
The Paper bush (Edgeworthia chrysantha) is a shrub-like shrub that produces yellow-white, tubular flowers arranged in umbels with a pleasant fragrance. They appear from March to April. The Paper bush also has lanceolate, dark green leaves. In a sunny, sheltered location with well-drained, humus-rich, dry soil, it usually reaches a height of around 2 metres and grows to a width of around 1.5 metres.

Leaves
The deciduous leaves of the Paper bush are dark green, lanceolate, with entire margins. They are about 7 - 12 cm in size. Paper bush turns bright yellow in autumn.

Growth
Paper bush is a shrub. It usually reaches a height of 1.5 - 2 m and is approx. 1 - 1.5 m wide.

Water
This plant has a low water requirement.

Location
Preferred location in a sunny, sheltered position.

Soil
Standard container plant soil. Normal soil.

Planting time
Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the ground is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).

Care
Over time, the soil loses some important properties. The plants should therefore be transplanted into a larger pot with fresh container plant soil every two years in spring.

Flower
The yellow-white, tubular flowers of Paper bush appear in umbels from March to April. These are pleasantly scented.
