Description
The Ebbinge's silverberry 'Gilt Edge' (Elaeagnus x ebbingei) is an upright, dense, roundish, winter-green shrub with decorative, glossy, leathery, lanceolate, dark green leaves with a yellow edge. It also bears creamy white, tubular flowers from September to November. In a semi-shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 3 metres and grows to a width of around 3 metres.
