Description
The Goumi (Elaeagnus multiflora) is a bushy, loose shrub that produces pale yellow flowers with a pleasant fragrance. They appear in May. These produce dark red fruits from September. They exude a pleasant fragrance. The Goumi also has egg-shaped, dark green leaves. Its bark is dark brown. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 5 metres and grows to a width of around 5 metres.
