Description
With its medium green leaves, the Hair grass (Eleocharis acicularis) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as pond edges, streams, ponds and aquariums. Brown flowers appear from June to August. It prefers humus-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Hair grass is well tolerant of frost. The upright plant usually reaches a height of approx. 15 cm.
