Description
With its medium green leaves, the Creeping spike-rush (Eleocharis palustris) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as pond edges, streams, ponds and aquariums. Brown flowers appear from May to July. It prefers well-drained soil in a sunny position. The Creeping spike-rush is well tolerant of frost. The upright plant usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm.
