Description
The Barrenwort (Epimedium x cantabrigiense) is a broad, spreading, winter-green perennial that produces pale yellow, star-shaped flowers arranged in clusters from April to May. Its heart-shaped leaves are medium green. In a semi-shady to shady location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Barrenwort is well tolerant of frost.
