Description
The Large-flowered barrenwort 'Akebono' (Epimedium grandiflorum) is a broad, bushy, clump-forming perennial with decorative, heart-shaped, dark green leaves. It bears light pink, star-shaped flowers from April to May. In a semi-shady to shady location with well-drained, lime-free soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 25 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide.
