Description
The Barrenwort (Epimedium x youngianum) is a broad, bushy, compact perennial that forms white, pink or light pink, bell-shaped flowers arranged in clusters from April to May. Its heart-shaped leaves are medium green in colour. In a semi-shady to shady location with humusy, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 20 cm and grows to a width of approx. 30 cm. The Barrenwort is well tolerant of frost.
