Description
The Rough horsetail (Equisetum hyemale) is an upright, runner-forming, evergreen perennial that produces brown flowers from July to August. In a semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 80 cm and is approx. 60 cm wide. The Rough horsetail is well tolerant of frost.
