Description
With its medium green leaves, the Horsetail (Equisetum scirpoides) is a highly decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as the edge of a pond, stream, pond and tub. Brown flowers appear from June to July. It prefers acidic soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Horsetail is well tolerant of frost. The creeping, rhizome-forming, evergreen plant usually reaches a height of approx. 25 cm.
