Description
The Winter aconite (Eranthis hyemalis) produces attractive, yellow, pleasantly fragrant flowers from February to March. It prefers a calcareous, loamy soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The flat plant usually reaches a height of 6 - 10 cm and grows up to 5 cm wide.
