Description
The Loquat (Eriobotrya japonica) is a very popular, evergreen container plant whose orange-yellow fruits have a sweet, exotic flavour. Its decorative flowers appear from September to November. They exude a pleasant fragrance. The dark green leaves are lanceolate. The location should be as sunny to semi-shady as possible. Well-drained and loose soil is ideal. In favourable conditions, the Loquat reaches a height of approx. 3 m and grows up to 2.5 m wide.
