Description
With its medium green leaves, the Canna down (Eriophorum vaginatum) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as pond edges, streams and ponds. White flowers appear from April to June. It prefers well-drained, humus-rich, acidic, moist to wet soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Canna down is well tolerant of frost. The upright, clump-forming plant usually reaches a height of approx. 35 cm.
