Description
The Mediterranean sea holly (Eryngium bourgatii) is an upright perennial with decorative, deeply slit, grey-green leaves with silver-grey veins. It bears silver-grey flowers from July to August. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and grows to a width of approx. 50 cm. The Mediterranean sea holly is well tolerant of frost.
