Description
The Mediterranean sea holly 'Pen Blue' (Eryngium bourgatii) is a bushy, clump-forming perennial with decorative, deeply slit, silver-green leaves. From June to August, it bears silver-blue flowers arranged in cobs. In a sunny location with well-drained, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Mediterranean sea holly 'Pen Blue' is well tolerant of frost.
