Description
The Sea holly (Eryngium maritimum) is a bushy, upright perennial that produces silvery-white, ball-shaped flowers from June to October. Its ovate, serrated leaves are grey-green. In a sunny position with well-drained, calcareous, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and spreads to approx. 80 cm. The Sea holly is highly frost-hardy.
