Description
The Andenstrauch 'Crimson Spire' (Escallonia rubra) is a very popular evergreen container plant. Its carmine-red flowers are tubular and appear from June to September. They exude a pleasant fragrance. The dark green leaves are egg-shaped and glossy. The location should be as sunny to semi-shady as possible. In favourable conditions, the Andenstrauch 'Crimson Spire' reaches a height of approx. 5 m and grows up to 5 m wide.
