Description
The Rosa Andenstrauch 'Gold Ellen' (Escallonia laevis) is a very popular evergreen container plant. Its pink-coloured flowers are star-shaped and appear from July to September. The golden-yellow leaves have red veins and are broadly lanceolate and glossy, leathery. The location should be as sunny to semi-shady and sheltered as possible. Well-drained soil is ideal. Under favourable conditions, the Rosa Andenstrauch 'Gold Ellen' reaches a height of approx. 3 m and grows up to 3 m wide.
