Description
The Chilean gum box (Escallonia rubra var. macrantha) is a very popular evergreen container plant. Its decorative flowers are tubular and appear from June to July. The dark green leaves are egg-shaped. In favourable conditions, the Chilean gum box reaches a height of approx. 2 m and grows up to 2.5 m wide.
