Description
The Gutta-percha tree (Eucommia ulmoides) is an upright tree that produces brown flowers. They appear from March to May. Green winged fruits emerge from these from June. Its bark is dark grey. In a sunny, sheltered location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 20 metres and grows to a width of around 12 metres.
