Description
The Japanese spindle 'Microphyllus Pulchellus' (Euonymus japonicus) is a compact small shrub with decorative, pink fruits. Before these appear, it produces light green, wheel-shaped flowers arranged in umbels from April to August. The Japanese spindle 'Microphyllus Pulchellus' also has egg-shaped, variegated yellow leaves. In a sunny to semi-shaded, sheltered position with well-drained, nutrient-rich, slightly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1 m and spreads to approx. 1 m.
