Description
The Schönulme (Euptelea pleiosperma) is an upright large shrub or small tree that produces greenish-red flowers. They appear from April to May. The Schönulme also has egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. The reddish shoots are also an interesting sight. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of around 8 metres and is around 4 metres wide. The Schönulme makes no particular demands on the soil.
