Description
The Pearl bush (Exochorda racemosa) is a large, funnel-shaped, overhanging shrub that produces white flowers arranged in clusters. They appear from May to June. These produce brown fruits. The Pearl bush also has egg-shaped, light green leaves. Its bark is red-brown in colour. In a sunny location with humus-rich, lime-free, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 4 metres and grows to a width of around 4 metres.
