Description
The Common beech 'Rohanii' (Fagus sylvatica) is an upright, broad, large tree that produces inconspicuous flowers. They appear from April to May. These produce brown fruits from September. The Common beech 'Rohanii' also has egg-shaped, medium green leaves. Its bark is silver-grey and smooth. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 30 metres and grows to a width of around 15 metres.
