Description
With its blue-green leaf colouring, Dragon scale bamboo 'Blue Lizard'®(s) (Fargesia murielae) is a decorative design element in the garden. The special thing about it, apart from its upright form, is that it does not need a rhizome barrier! It prefers semi-shady to shady locations with well-drained, calcareous and slightly acidic soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy bamboo reaches a height of approx. 2.5 m and grows up to 2.5 m wide.
