Description
With its medium green leaf colouring and red stems, Fountain-bamboo 'Jiuzhaigou Genf' (Fargesia) is a decorative design element in the garden. The special thing about it, apart from its upright and loose form, is that it does not need a rhizome barrier! It prefers sunny to semi-shady locations with well-drained soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy bamboo reaches a height of approx. 4 m and grows up to 3 m wide.
