Description
With its dark green leaf colouring, Umbrella bamboo 'Obelisk'® (Fargesia murielae) is a decorative design element in the garden. What makes it special, apart from its conical shape, is that it does not need a rhizome barrier! It prefers sunny to semi-shady locations with well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Under favourable conditions, this hardy bamboo reaches a height of approx. 2 m and grows up to 4.5 m wide.
