Description
The Fountain bamboo 'Pingwu' (Fargesia robusta) with its medium green leaf colouring and yellow stems is a decorative design element in the garden. The special thing about it, apart from its upright, clump-forming and spreading shape, is that it does not need a rhizome barrier! It prefers sunny to semi-shady locations with well-drained, humus-rich and loose soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy bamboo reaches a height of approx. 3 m and grows up to 2 m wide.
