Description
The Bamboo (Fargesia scabrida) with its dark green leaf colouring and purple-red stems is a decorative design element in the garden. In addition to its upright, broad and clump-forming shape, its special feature is that it does not need a rhizome barrier! It prefers sunny to semi-shady locations with well-drained and nutrient-rich soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy bamboo reaches a height of approx. 4 m and grows up to 4 m wide.
