Description
The Fountain-bamboo 'Jiuzhaigou 10' (Fargesia) with its medium green leaf colouring and blue-violet stems is a decorative design element in the garden. What makes it special, apart from its bushy and clump-forming shape, is that it does not need a rhizome barrier! It prefers sunny to semi-shady locations with well-drained soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy bamboo reaches a height of approx. 4 m and grows up to 2 m wide.
