Description
With its dark green leaf colouring, the Spiky fescue (Festuca gautieri) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also adorns containers on balconies or terraces with its cushion-forming growth. The yellow-green flower fronds adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 15 cm and grows up to 30 cm wide.
