Description
With its blue-green leaf colouring, Blue fescue 'Compact Blue' (Festuca glauca) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also stands out with its cushion-forming growth. The brown flower plumes adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny location with sandy, loamy soil that is as well-drained as possible. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 30 cm and grows up to 60 cm wide.
