Description
The Common fig 'Brown Turkey' (Ficus carica) produces amber-yellow, very large fruits. They are pear-shaped and have a sweet flavour. Well-drained, loamy, slightly acidic soil and a sunny location create the ideal conditions for a high-yield harvest from August. Its white flowers are a beautiful sight. With its broad and branched growth, Common fig 'Brown Turkey' grows to around 4 metres high and 6 metres wide, making it ideal for growing in pots on balconies or terraces.
